All of our hosting plans include mailing list software. We
also offer a 'mailing list only' package.
-
Easy, form-based admin
Changing settings for your list or managing your subscriber base are as
easy as filling in forms via your browser. Should you choose to have
moderators to assist you with your list, they also have access via password
to some of the forms.
-
Newsletter vs Closed vs Open Discussion
Each mailing list can be configure to act as a:
-
newsletter: announcement only; only designated
persons may post; subscribers only receive messages
-
closed discussion: subscribed members may also post
to the list
-
open discussion: anyone may post, even if not
subscribed
-
Reply-to Sender vs. Reply-to List
Set your list so that replies are automatically addressed back to either
the sender only or to the list to be distributed to all subscribers
-
Custom Header, Footer, and Subject Line Identifier
You can add optional custom messages to the start and/or end of each
message going through y our list. As well, you may choose to add a word or
phrase to each message's subject line to identify it as a message from your
list. We do not add any advertising into your list.
-
Message Moderation via email
You can set your list so that incoming messages are held for approval by
an administrator (you the list maintainer, or your helper moderators).
Moderation is as easy as using the reply function of your email client,
allowing you to quickly approve or decline a message (with optional
comments).
-
Message Filtering
You can choose to set any of the optional filters to reject certain
types of messages:
-
messages in HTML or rich text format rather than
plain text only
-
messages which include attachments
-
messages which contain excessive amounts of
quoted/forwarded material (i.e. >>>>>...)
-
messages which ask for read or return receipts
-
Message Archives
You can set the number of posted messages you wish to have saved for
later retrieval. You can set your archives to be open (anyone may retrieve)
or closed access (subscribers only may retrieve them)
-
Manual or Automated Subscription Mechanisms
Your may choose to let the script automatically handle subscriptions and
unsubscriptions, or you may have them sent to you as list maintainer, so
that you may approve them. If you set the list to automatically handle these
requests, you can have a copy sent to you.
-
Subscription/unsubscription via email or form
We provide HTML code for you to put a subscribe box on your website.
Visitors may also subscribe or unsubscribe by sending an email
message.
-
Duplication and syntax checks
Whether a user is subscribed automatically (by subscribe box or by
email) or added manually by you, the software will verify whether or not
they are already subscribed. It will also ensure that all your addresses are
correctly formatted email addresses to prevent breaking the list.
-
Bounces and Banning
You can set the number of bounced messages to allow before a member gets
automatically unsubscribed from the list. You can also ban someone from
subscribing to your lists.
-
Custom Messages
Almost all of the messages generated by the list can be customized by
you. Thes messages include those sent in response to a subscription or
unsubscription, a help request, a bounce due to your filters, etc... We do
not add any advertising into your list.
-
Subscriber Counts
The subscriber base forms present you with a count of your subscribers.
Our servers successfully run lists with over ten thousand subscribers.
